Commitment
To show works constructed by combining elements of science, structure and nature. As a self-taught, nature-inspired artist, to create functional and sculptural pieces. To create unique objects by learning through careful observation of how structures evolve in nature.

"A Salute to Illinois Crafts" sponsored by the Illinois Artisans Program where three large hand-crafted chairs were displayed at the J. Thompson Center, Chicago and Illinois State Fair, Springfield. One of four artists chosen to show pieces in the Marshall Field's State Street, Chicago store window for the Year of Crafts Celebration, 1993.

Commissions
Has completed thirty-five functional and sculptural commissions, including the base to The Tree of Life for Joliet Illinois' St. John's Medical Center, two dining room sets, a chess game table and chairs, and a large wall unit.
Galleries
Founded Chicago's Williwaw Gallery and Studio in 1985 and Kenosha, Wisconsin's Borderline Gallery and Studio in 1989. Relocated the Williwaw Gallery and Studio to Port Townsend, Washington, in 1995.
